Birthday

April 26th, 2006 by bebipogi

I don’t know what birthdays are all about. But if it means I’d get to go to Ocean Adventure and see the Sea Lion show and (sleep through the) Whale and Dolphin show plus the Discovery Aquarium, tag along on their shopping at Puregold, eat (sleep) at Razon’s, receive gifts and have more cuddle time with mom, I definitely love it.  =)

First Love

April 17th, 2006 by bebipogi

Maybe it was the weather or the new place but I just felt butterflies in my stomach whenever she was around. I tried approaching her but she would only kick at me and cry. On one of our rides though, I tried offering her chips. She accepted it and I was rewarded with a kiss. She has fair, smooth skin, chinky eyes and chubby legs. Her name is Joyce. I hope I get to see her again.

Star City

March 28th, 2006 by bebipogi

StarcityWe had an advanced birthday celebration for Ate Mai last Sunday at Star City. Mommy allowed me to ride the Wacky Dragon with Tita, Telecombat and Carousel with her. We also went inside the Ice Palace, Snow White and Little Mermaid. It was better than the last time we went there when I only got on a few rides. Sadly, I’m still underheight for most rides. =( But Mommy was delighted coz I was brave enough to not cry on the faster rides. We also bought Ate Mai a snakes & ladders/chess play set for her birthday. To Ate Mai, Happy Happy Birthday! Hope you continue to play/share your toys with me.

The Weekend that Was

March 20th, 2006 by bebipogi

Hungry_hippoI had a wonderful weekend. Last Saturday, Mommy and I with Tita, Ate Mai and Rein went to Ayah’s birthday party at Jollibee. I enjoyed dancing while waiting for the party to start. There were a lot of fun games (too bad Mom wouldn’t allow me to join since she thought I couldn’t follow the instructions) and the bubble show was a blast. I kept bursting the bubbles coming my way and Mommy and I also get to step inside the huge bubble. Jollibee and Hetty also outstaged each other dancing to the Jollibee song. It was really fun.

On Sunday, we went swimming at Rainforest. I was afraid of the water at first but found out it was actually fun. Mommy was always there so I had nothing to worry about. I also enjoyed eating spaghetti, chicken and grilled pork. Too bad we had to leave early to take the APE at Healthway Market!Market!. I don’t understand why they had to prick my finger and let me lay on that examining table with a dim light on. But it’s ok since I had back to back outings this weekend. =)

Needle

February 21st, 2006 by bebipogi

I can’t get it why Mommy has to bring me to that horrid place. They’d always place me in a platform too small for me so that my legs are dangling while the woman look on. Then they’d put me in a table. With Mom holding my knees, the woman would stick a needle in my leg. And I’d scream and cry and kick. I thought Mom would understand by now that I hate it but we still keep coming back there. Oh, when will this end?

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.

I know Mom’s been happy lately. Why? Because I often call her during the day, of course yaya dials for me, to tell her sweet nothings. I’ve also been giving her more kisses lately (I use to give her just one, sometimes none if she asks for a kiss). Just this morning, I woke up after my nap and looked for her in every room of the house. I forgot she’s at the office working. I bet she’s delighted when yaya told her that. I guess I just want her to know how much I appreciate her. Actually, I’m smitten with her.

TV night

February 2nd, 2006 by bebipogi

TvMom and I were watching Extra Challenge last night when she suddenly switched channel. I protested, gave her the remote and said "Palit!". She was laughing coz it’s just then that she discovered I already have preferences when watching shows. She even told me "Dyan na lang be, marami kang matututunan dyan." Well, the show was just too dark and serious for me. Good thing lola came and they allowed me to play on the terrace. Mom also got to enjoy watching CSI.

From EK to ER

January 26th, 2006 by bebipogi

Mai_tita_babyThe Enchanted Kingdom outing last Saturday was a blast. I get to ride on the grand carousel even if I was frightened halfway through the ride and daddy(lolo) had to take me from the horse. I also rode one of those big hot air balloons. It was fun at first but was also frightening that I was crying before the ride ended. Anyway, it was nice coz I was able to run around even a bit too far that I thought I was getting lost. Good thing Mommy always kept her eyes on me. I was totally enjoying the outing that I was surprised when I vomitted after eating a hotdog. Mommy was so worried and they were debating on our way home if they had to rush me to the ER. Tita said that they would put me on dextrose if we go to the hospital so Mommy decided against it. I was feeling better when we arrived home. I even stomped on a dead cockroach so we decided to go to bed. I was immediately awaken though coz I had the urge to vomit again. Mommy turned the light on and saw that my vomit was yellow. That’s when she started to panic/cry and decided to rush me to the ER. The pedias there were trying to give me Pedialyte but since I was vomitting every half hour, they decided to put me on dextrose. Good thing Mommy was filling out the admittance form that she didn’t see me cry when they put it on me. Actually, I was too tired even to cry so I just squirmed a little. We’re finally admitted to room 534 and Mommy almost didn’t sleep that night watching over me. We stayed at the hospital for 3 days. I was already bored so it was a delight when they let On_dextroseme roam around the floor with Mom carrying me on a wheelchair. I also enjoyed watching Animal Planet on TV. Ninang Jhoy visited me on my last day at the hospital. I learned later that Ninang Milet also visited but she went to our old room (we actually transferred to the pedia floor on our second day). I’m relieved that it’s over. The dextrose on my hand for 3 days was not easy. Hope this won’t happen again.

Ball Time

January 18th, 2006 by bebipogi

Last night, lolo and lola were on the streets hanging those things for the upcoming fiesta so Mommy allowed me to go out and play ball. I had a great time throwing the ball even if it didn’t reach too far. Mommy was also exclaiming with delight when I showed her my kicking skills. She probably didn’t expect that I could do it already or even understand her when she said "Sipa, be!". She was worried though everytime I tumbled but it’s ok since I really didn’t get hurt. Hope I would have more fun times like this with Mommy.
